1. Restaurant-Initiated Cancellations:
1.1 Restaurants reserve the right to cancel orders placed through the App under exceptional circumstances, including but not limited to:
Unforeseen operational issues (e.g., equipment malfunction, staffing shortages).
Unexpected depletion of the specific discounted item.
Force majeure events.
1.2 In the event of a Restaurant-initiated cancellation:
The Restaurant must promptly notify the affected User through the App's notification system.
A full refund of the order value will be automatically credited to the User's 1Plate1World in-app wallet immediately.
While not obligatory, Restaurants are encouraged to offer Users a goodwill gesture, such as a future discount or in-app credit, to mitigate any inconvenience caused.
2. User Cancellation Requests:
2.1 Users acknowledge that direct order cancellation through the App is not permitted. However, Users may submit a cancellation request by contacting the Restaurant directly via the in-app chat function.
2.2 The Restaurant holds sole discretion in determining whether to approve a User's cancellation request. Factors considered by the Restaurant may include, but are not limited to:
The time elapsed since the order was placed.
The Restaurant's preparation status of the order.
The validity of the User's reason for cancellation.
2.3 If the Restaurant approves the cancellation request:
The Restaurant must confirm the cancellation to the User through the in-app chat.
A full refund of the order value will be credited to the User's 1Plate1World in-app wallet immediately.
2.4 If the Restaurant denies the cancellation request, the User is obligated to fulfill the order as originally placed.
3. User No-Shows:
3.1 A "No-Show" is defined as a User's failure to collect their order within the designated pickup window specified by the Restaurant.
3.2 In the event of a User No-Show:
The User forfeits the order and is not entitled to a refund.
The Restaurant reserves the right to manage the unclaimed food item as they deem appropriate.
4. Dispute Resolution:
4.1 Any disputes arising from cancellations or No-Shows should first be addressed directly between the User and the Restaurant through the in-app chat.
4.2 If a resolution cannot be reached between the User and the Restaurant, the User may contact 1Plate1World customer support for assistance. The Company will investigate the matter and make a final determination, which will be binding on both parties.
5. Amendments:
5.1 The Company reserves the right to modify this Cancellation Policy at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting 1 the revised policy within the App. Continued use of the App following any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.

6.1 This Cancellation Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws.
